The AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate

Age:  Any, dogs under two years should re-test again after they turn two

Temperament: steady and calm, however if these word don’t currently fit your dog you may take the class to train it to be steady and calm!

What is taught: Your dog is taught the skills to pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen ten point test as out lined here

6 week class, the last class is when the test is given.  If the test is passed the dog will earn a CGC title from the AKC

What do you need to bring:  Dog, 6 ft or 9 ft leash, collar or harness, excellent food treats.
